NEW DELHI: The Office Automation (OA) Division of HCL Infosystems Ltd, an Indian information enabling company, has launched mailing systems from Pitney Bowes, OfficeRight, the Digital Mail Finisher and PostPerfect, the digital franking system. Pitney Bowes Ltd is a global provider of integrated mail, messaging and document management solutions. HCL Infosystems, in tie-up Pitney Bowes, will leverage the convergence between office automation, IT and telecommunication through its product and service offerings.

OfficeRight, the new generation Digital Mail Finisher, automates folding; insertion and sealing of mails to radically save on time and cost, and can process 15 mails in 60 seconds. A flexible solution, OfficeRight can process large volumes or individual letters, depending on user requirement, claimed a company released. An additional built-in module can insert an extra, folded piece and processes three sheets in an envelope.

OfficeRight enhances office productivity by speeding up the processing of invoices, bills, reports, direct mails and circulars by eliminating manual and time consuming preparation of mails.

PostPerfect, the new generation Digital Mailing System is an intelligent approach to mail processing needs. It puts an end to the messy and prolonged task of manually affixing stamps and sealing envelopes. Officially approved by the Department of Post, PostPerfect is a guard against overpayment since the amount of postage to be used can be pre-set. It can also track and report postage costs - by department, class, day or volume. PostPerfect has a built-in security password to protect the postage investment and keeps unauthorized users away.

PostPerfect can also be interfaced with any PC to enable the transfer of accounting data to any Windows based spreadsheet program. It also automatically changes the date every day and avoids any possibility of mail being returned due to an inaccurate date. These mail automation solutions can fold, insert, seal and frank the envelopes and cost.
