If you were thinking about buying an iPhone, there’s a bad news for you. Apple has raised the price of its iPhone models. The price hike comes after the Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley increased the customs duty on imported mobile phones from 15 percent to 20 percent.

Since the announcement, all iPhone models except the iPhone SE (which is manufactured in India) have undergone a price hike so that the iPhone X is now available for Rs 95,390 for the 64GB variant and Rs 1,08,939 for the 256GB variant.

The iPhone 6 32GB, the cheapest in Apple’s stable, will now cost Rs 31,900 vs its earlier price of Rs 30,780. The iPhone 6S 32GB is now available for Rs 42,900 while the 128 GB version of the phone has now been priced Rs 52,100.

The iPhone 8 is now available at a starting price of Rs 67,940 for the 64GB version, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 81,500. The larger iPhone 8 Plus is priced at Rs 77,560 for the 64GB variant and Rs 91,110 for the 256GB model.

The prices of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have also changed. The iPhone 7 now starts at Rs 52,370 for the 32GB variant and Rs 61,560 for the 128GB storage model. The iPhone 7 Plus is priced at Rs 62,840 for the 32GB model while the 128GB storage variant will retail for Rs 72,060.

In addition to the iPhone models, the cost of Apple Watch Series 3 has also changed. Apple Watch Series 3 will now cost Rs 32,380 for the GPS-only model with 38mm watch face. The 42mm model is now priced at Rs 34,410, up from the earlier price of Rs 31,900.
