The futuristic phone from Apple that features a facial recognition feature is powered by the A11 bionic processor and is priced at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs 1,02,000 for the 128GB one. One notable feature of the iPhone X is that it supports Animojis, where you can create and send face-mapped 3D emojis to your contacts.

The number one mobile phone selling brand in the country launched its most powerful device earlier this year. The Galaxy Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 521ppi. The phone is powered either by Snapdragon 835 SoC or Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC (the Exynos processor has four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four at 1.7 GHz). The device comprises 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and comes with three storage options- 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It is priced starting at Rs 67,990.

The company that once again brought back the craze of feature phones in the country- Reliance Jio launched its much-awaited JioPhone earlier this year. JioPhone is a 4G feature phone that comes at an effective price of Rs 0. All a user needs to do is use the JioPhone for 36 months and then he/she can return the device and claim his security deposit of Rs 1,500. The JioPhone provides unlimited voice calls and data at Rs 153 per month and comes pre-loaded with the Jio apps for messaging, entertainment, etc. especially Jio TV which features more than 400 live TV channels.

Going by the specifications it has, OnePlus 5 could be the best Android-powered smartphone on the market. The flagship features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 and runs OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. OnePlus 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The camera is the best department of the OnePlus 5. The phone sports a dual rear camera setup made up of a 16-megapixel main camera and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies, you get a 16-megapixel front camera with a 1-micron pixel Sony IMX371 sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, and EIS. The phone is priced at Rs 32,999 for the 6GB+64GB version and Rs 37,999 for the 8GB+128GB version.

The iconic mobile phone brand Nokia launched the Nokia 3310 in a redesigned avatar earlier this year. The company reinvented the device while retaining some of its original elements and giving a modern twist. Nokia 3310 has a 2.4-inch QVGA color display offering 240X320 pixel resolution. It runs on Nokia Series 30 platform and also features the legendary Snake game with a refreshed design. The phone has 16MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). On the back is a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash supported by 1200mAh battery that offers 22-hour talk-time and month-long standby time. The phone is priced at Rs 3310 only.

f) Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+-

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are powered by the octa-core Exynos 8895 processor in the India version. The US version was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The flagship devices come with ‘Infinity Display’ and sports Quad HD+ Super AMOLED curved display. Both the models pack 4GB of RAM and come with 64GB inbuilt storage while also supporting expandable storage via microSD card up to 256GB. As far as the camera is concerned, the flagship devices are equipped with an advanced 8MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera and 12MP F1.7 dual pixel rear camera. The smartphones are available in two color variants- Midnight Black and Maple Gold. The Galaxy S8  is priced at Rs 57,900 and the S8+ is priced at Rs 64,900.

g) HTC U11-

HTC launched HTC U11- the first smartphone from the company with HTC Edge Sense, priced at Rs 51,990 for the 6GB+128GB version. HTC U11 is powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. The device comes with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. All these features make it a great product worth the price.

h) Xiaomi Redmi Note 4-

The most popular budget smartphone in the country was launched earlier this year. Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants. The 2GB+16GB version costs Rs 9,999, the 3GB+32GB model costs Rs 10,999 while the 4GB+64GB version costs Rs 12,999. Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor and an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI8.

i) LG G6-

To compete with Samsung's Galaxy S8, LG launched it's most ambitious phone- LG G6. With the Snapdragon 821 SoC, this is more or less as powerful as the LG G5 and it has the same wide-angle dual-camera setup on the back. Using the same sensors on both cameras, LG was able to allow seamless zoom this time, and the overall camera quality is great. The LG G6 is a decent flagship, one that ticks most of the right boxes. The phone which was priced at Rs 51,990 got a price cut of Rs 13,000 and is now available at Rs 38,990.
