Microsoft edition of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now available online

Samsung responds to the battery issue faced by Galaxy Note 8 owners

Microsoft, in its online store has started selling the Galaxy Note 8, that comes pre-loaded with apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and virtual assistant Cortana.

Dubbed as the Microsoft Edition, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 also includes Microsoft Launcher, Android Authority reported. Microsoft Launcher helps users with personalized feed, housing access to calendar, documents and recent activities.

The news comes after Microsoft started selling Razer phone and Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

You can head over to Microsoft's website to pick one up. It is priced at $929 right now.

The website said, "If you are looking for the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus, Microsoft has them on sale, dropping the price by $150.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a 6.3-inch 2960 x 1440 infinity display, 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. It has dual 12 MP shooters on the rear, a first for a Samsung flagship, and an 8 MP front-facing camera. The rest of the specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, expandable storage, an IP68 rating, and a 3300mAh battery that supports quick charging.
