After successfully launching hats and flamethrowers, Elon Musk's The Boring Company will now be selling life-sized Lego bricks that you can use to build your own structures. According to Musk's tweets, the bricks are made of rock extracted during The Boring Company's drilling and they interlock and have a "precise surface finish" so they could double as affordable housing materials.
New Boring Company merch coming soon. Lifesize LEGO-like interlocking bricks made from tunneling rock that you can use to create sculptures & buildings. Rated for California seismic loads, so super strong, but bored in the middle, like an aircraft wing spar, so not heavy.

Musk says that The Boring Company will sell “kits” of bricks, starting with one that makes it easy to build things from “ancient Egypt,” like replicas of the pyramids, the Sphinx, or the Temple of Horus.
First kit set will be ancient Egypt — pyramids, Sphinx, temple of Horus, etc

He also added that the bricks could easily be used to build small houses.
Yeah, the boring bricks are interlocking with a precise surface finish, so two people could build the outer walls of a small house in a day or so

It's unclear when these bricks, or the kits, will be available or how much they’ll cost. The Boring company is working on deploying ‘Loop’ and ‘Hyperloop’ transit systems in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Maryland.
