After Apple, OnePlus might also launch OnePlus 5 in red colour

Would you like to use red or a blue-green-purplish combination of coloured smartphone?

If your answer is Yes, then please be informed, OnePlus is planning to launch the much-awaited smartphone of the year, OnePlus 5, in colours mentioned above.

The company recently posted on Twitter, asking “What 5hould the colour of your next phone be?”. The word ‘5hould’ is a no-brainer, because the company is, of course, talking about its upcoming smartphone.

The options offered by the company includes black, red, gold and a gradient tone which the company later referred to as ‘Unicorn’.

From the given options, a black or gold OnePlus 5 would not come as a surprise as we have already seen these two colours on the OnePlus 3T. However, a red version is likely to happen considering Apple's RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

OnePlus 5 is supposed to launch this June or July. For the new smartphone, the company is also expected to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, along with possible 8GB RAM and a 256GB version on the cards. The battery is expected to be increased to 3600 mAh from the 3400 mAh, one we saw on the earlier OnePlus 3T.
