Merely hours after the launch of Apple new MacBook Pro, Redmond based Microsoft made a surprising announcement that in the U.S. can trade in their MacBook Air or MacBook Pro at the Microsoft Store (retail or online) for up to $650 off the purchase of a new Surface Pro or Surface Book. The offer is valid until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on November 10, 2016, while supplies last.

The offer comes without much terms and conditions and all one has to do is to follow these four steps to avail the offer.

Visit the website and look for your best deal, give Microsoft your old laptop and accessories. After this, you will receive a promo code on your mail which you can use at checkout to get your discount.

With the deal, the Surface Pro that starts at $899 and the Surface Book that starts at $1,499, could potentially be yours for as less as $250 and the latter for $850.

Noticeably, Apple users have a reputation of being rather loyal customers considering the differences between operating a Macbook and a Windows device, it is very unlikely that a lot of users will be actually attracted towards this exchange scheme from Microsoft.

But then you never know as Apple won’t give you this much money for your old MacBook.
