Where is Vaccine Registration for 18-plus aged Indians happening?

Indians can register on the CoWIN platform or the Aarogya Setu app starting today, to get vaccine shots from May 1.

CoWIN is a platform for the citizens of India to Register for COVID-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest vaccination centres. The Aarogya Setu is a mobile app from the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The app provides all the Government of India initiatives from the Department of Health. It also reaches out to and informs the users regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories on the containment of COVID-19.

For the vaccine, users can even register through the Umang App. Both the Aarogya Setu and UMANG app are available on the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store.

Currently, the Indian Government is providing two vaccines - Bharat Biotech's Covaxin and Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield. The Serum Institute of India (SII) is manufacturing both vaccines. Accordingly, users can check the vaccination centres close to them and register. Here is the step by step guide:
