ZyXEL launches smart managed switches

BANGALORE, INDIA: ZyXEL Communications, broadband networking company, launched new smart managed switch series — XGS1910/GS1910.

The series comprises of six models — XGS1910-24/48, GS1910-24/24HP and GS1910-48/48HP — that provide 2/4 10GbE ports for uplinks and/or stacking links (XGS1910 models), 24/48 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports (GS1910-24HP/48HP) and Gigabit connectivity.

The switch is powered by L2 features capable of high-speed GbE to desktop, 10GbE uplink, PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology and IPv6 compatibility.

The new switches are designed with a variety of VLAN features such as MAC (Media Access Control), protocol-based VLAN, guest VLAN and are based on IEEE 802.3az EEE standard.
