ZyXEL launches partner training program

NEW DELHI: ZyXEL India, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, launched an aggressive strategy to focus on the retail business. As a part of its strategy, the company has resorted to regional distribution (RD) system. It has also launched a multi-city training program covering multiple cities to empower the channel partners.

Aligning the strategy, ZyXEL has appointed Usha Infotech as its RD for the territory of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana; Ransys Bios has been appointed for Tamil Nadu. The company is also scouting for more RDs to cater to other territories. As far as empowerment is concerned, ZyXEL has decided to conduct training programs for the channel. Christened as ZyCAMP, the company will cover two cities every month to train the local channel partners.

In the first phase, the first training program will be rolled out in Kolkata on Aug 28 and the second one will be conducted on Sep 5 in New Delhi. Further, the company will take this initiative to the cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Pinaki Chatterjee, Executive Director-Technical, ZyXEL India and Rishi Samadhia, Executive Director-Channel ZyXEL India. Both would travel to Kolkata and other cities for training partners on various technical and go to market aspects of ZyXEL.

Speaking about ZyXEL strategy, Chatterjee said, “We are just starting the training camp from Kolkata in the first phase and I am sure it will be appreciated by the partners. As the program evolves, in the second phase, we will have hands-on training program with more in-depth knowledge in different technology domains. We will reach out to more locations to spread awareness about ZyXEL capabilities.”

Samadhia added, “ZyXEL intends to invest a lot of man-hour on training to create significant impact on the go-to-market strategy of our channel partners. The impact of these training programs will also give strength to ZyXEL partners in terms of their revenues and technology expertise. This will surely help them to do successful business in different verticals.”

Spanned across seven hours from 10AM to 5PM, the training camp will cover the over all road map of the ZyXEL in India, company's business model and opportunity for the channel partners. The camp will focus on the entire product line of ZyXEL, including wireless, security, VoIP, switching, etc.
