Zync launches HD tablet for INR 10,990

MUMBAi, INDIA: Zync Global Private Limited,an Indian tablet device company, has announced its first 9.7inch tablet- the Z1000 for INR 10,990.

The Z-1000 is based on Android 4.0. ICS and is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jellybean. The tablet comes with a slim design sporting a 9.7 inch 5-point multi-touch capacitive HD display with screen resolution of 1024 x 768. The inbuilt 3G support and Wi - fi along with other multi processing capabilities give the tablet an added advantage.

The tablet comes with freebies worth Rs.1350 inside the box with add-on practical accessories like Lycra Pouch, Screen Protector, ear phones and a Big Flix 1 Month Subscription too, a company release said.

Powered by a 1.5 GHz processor, the tablet runs on an ARM Cortex A8 processor coupled with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. The tablet has a front and rear camera both with 0.3 mp and 2.0 mp respectively. It has a SIM card slot and comes with 8 GB onboard memory which is expandable upto 32 GB. The Z-1000 has a 7000 mAH battery. The other features include an inbuilt 3G support with a Mini HDMI & a Micro USB Port, a TF card, , 3.5 mm Earphone Jack and a DC port.

The table also comes with a number of pre-loaded applications including Ibibo, BigFlix, Hungama and other social networking websites like Facebook. Users can surf through a range of other interesting applications like Daily horoscopes, Art of Cooking, Bollywood gossips and Your Trading Expert.

Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited on the launch of the device said, "This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution with a face-unlocking feature. This new product will enhance the viewing experience and will be a perfect device for gamers and working professionals. As of now, the product is running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months."

"The tablet will be sold on the e-commerce platform through websites like Flipkart.com, Homeshop18.com, Naaptol.com, Snapdeal.com, Indiatimes, Infibeam and will come with a one-year pick-up and drop warranty," he further added.
