BANGALORE, INDIA: ZTE Corporation, a provider of telecommunication services, today announced that it has partnered with T-Mobile, a German based telecommunication service provider.
The cooperation covers handsets and data card devices for mobile applications.
T-Mobile and ZTE have declared a new strategic partnership spanning all the European markets of T-Mobile, said a press release.
The signing of a general framework agreement (GFA) on handsets and data cards emphasizes the intention to strengthen the cooperation between T-Mobile and the Chinese telecoms equipment provider.
The GFA represents a contract framework that spans the whole handling of a project and the possible adjustments of ZTE’s mobile products for T-Mobile.
The relationship has been stepped up considerably in the last few months, aiming to support Deutsche Telekom in setting up modern infrastructures for fixed and mobile networks, the release added.
