ZTE demos LTE Advanced in China

BEIJING, CHINA: Networking equipment maker ZTE Corporation demonstrated LTE-Advanced system at P&T/Expo Comm China in Beijing.

ZTE achieved a downlink peak rate of over 1Gbit/second.

LTE-advanced is known as 4G technology and it introduces carrier aggregation, enhanced antenna, relay, Coordinated Multi-point Tx/Rx (CoMP) and other key technologies.
