New Update

PLEASANTON, CLIFORNIA: Zoho, a division of AdventNet and provider of innovative software products, has announced the enterprise account for Site24x7, the company's website monitoring service. The company also announced it is using Site24x7 to make uptime and performance details of its Zoho services publicly available to Zoho users and other web watchers who status.zoho.com.

"As we introduce more paid versions of our services, transparency becomes just as important as uptime and SLAs," said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. "Our users deserve to know how Zoho is performing over time from different locations, and they can find out at status.zoho.com. And more enterprise organizations agree with us, which inspired us to release the Site24x7 Enterprise Account."

Site24x7 in the Enterprise
Site24x7 helps businesses proactively monitor websites, online applications, and servers to ensure high uptime and an excellent end-user experience. Site24x7 monitors websites from multiple monitoring locations around the world, letting organizations showcase the performance of their web applications on the new status page. For example, status.zoho.com monitors Zoho's site performance from different locations including Singapore, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and several states in the U.S. including Washington and New Jersey.

Site24x7 performs monitoring checks from outside the firewall to help isolate performance problems. If any downtime or performance problems are detected, Site24x7 sends out instant email and SMS notifications, enabling rapid response and corrective actions. Robust reporting features provide empirical knowledge of downtime and performance issues globally.

Now, the Site24x7 Enterprise Account targets enterprises that want to ensure their customer-facing web sites are meeting long-term business goals. To that end, the Enterprise Account includes features such as:

Website SLA management lets organizations define service level agreements and track their compliance with real uptime and performance statistics for their sites;

Enterprise-class reports, including Busy Hours, Trends, Summary, Downtime, Response Time, and more;
Monitor Groups let service providers and other organizations group related monitors into separate categories;
Trace Route Upon Failure isolates the point of network failure;
Operations Dashboard provides an overall picture of websites' performance from various geographical locations; and
Enhanced billing, including itemized billing information, printable invoices, and more.

Leveraging AdventNet
Behind the scenes, Site24x7 is powered by technology borrowed from AdventNet, the parent company of Zoho. For Site24x7, AdventNet shares code from the Network Performance Management software it created as part of the ManageEngine enterprise IT management suite.

Going forward, Zoho and AdventNet plan to collaborate on other products that will be made available under the Zoho and ManageEngine brands.
