BANGALORE, INDIA: Zinnov Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd, a management consulting firm, recently hosted an awards ceremony for the MNC R&D Industry in India, to recognize their contribution to the entire R&D ecosystem.
Titled, ‘Zinnov Awards & Recognition Program 2010’, this event brought together important stakeholders from the global R&D community and recognized their contribution thereby facilitating peer-learning.
Winners were awarded for their achievements under four categories, including, ‘Transformation in Maturity’(Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC) and Pace India), ‘Eco-system Contribution' (IBM, NVIDIA), ‘Successful Incubation’ (Google India Engineering Cente).
Award for another category ‘Best Technical Role Models’ was won by Dipankar Sarma, Senior Technical Staff Member Linux Techonolgy Centre, IBM India Software Lab; Prasad VTSV, Senior Chief Engineer, Samsung India Software Operations; Vikram Srinivasan, Technical Manager, Alcatel-Lucent. Bhavani Kumar Eshwar, Software Architect, Master Data Management from IBM India Software Lab
Speaking about the award ceremony, Pari Natarajan, chief executive officer, Zinnov Management Consulting said, “R&D Globalization has significantly evolved over the last few years, and collaboration is a driving force that has taken R&D to the next level. From among the nominations sent by the companies, the jury chose the winners based on their technical excellence, peer recognition and Impact created (both in terms of people mentored and nature of contribution) factoring in duration.
