Domino’s, the world leader in pizza delivery, which recently unveiled a pizza delivery vehicle- Domino’s DXP, with a built-in warming oven, has unveiled a new app called Zero Click, which lets you design your favorite pizza and order it anytime you open the app.

The process has its own way; the app first requires consumers to create an account on the app and then create “Pizza Profile.” This profile includes your favorite pizza order (e.g. a chicken denominator), along with other contact information. This information, also known as your “Easy Order,” is then provided to whichever digital ordering system you decide to use.

Once everything is set, simply opening the "Zero Click" app will order said pizza. If you want to cancel the order, the app provides a 10-second countdown.

"We think about how to make digital ordering better all day and all night," said Dennis Maloney, chief digital officer at Domino's. "Zero-click ordering is a dream come true for us. I'm not saying the idea came to me in a dream (and I'm not saying it didn't), but I challenge someone to dream up an easier way to order."

The app is the latest attempt by Domino's to remove both human contact and the faintest stress from the pizza-ordering process. In the past, Domino's has allowed customers to order pizza via Amazon Echo, Apple's Siri, Samsung's Smart TVs, and even emoji on Twitter. The company claims that its emphasis on technology helped generate over 50 percent of U.S. sales from digital channels at the end of 2015, and helped reach an estimated $4.7 billion annually in global digital sales.

Though Dominos is set to bring the best to their pizza-fans, the app also brings some inevitable harm - accidental butt dials, which can happen anytime, anywhere.

Make sure your phone has a strong passcode and don’t let kids/friends play with your phones, in case you want to avoid certain scenarios.
