NEW DELHI: Zensar Technologies has completed the restructuring of its global operations into strategic business units (SBUs). The two core businesses of the company, Applications Portfolio Management (APM) and Enterprise Application Services (EAS), which contribute over 80 percent of the company's current revenues, have been placed under the stewardship of Zensar veterans, Vivek Gupta and Nitin Parab, both based in the USA as global profit centers.

A company statement mentioned that two new SBUs - Innovative Technology Solutions (ITS) and Business Process Outsourcing & Optimization (BPO) have been set up as independent profit centers, each with a mandate of growing 100 percent per year for the next three years across existing and new markets. ITS is headed by Zensar CTO Dilip Ittyera and BPO by Aamod Wagh. The SBU heads will be responsible for sales in UK and USA and also for the delivery centers within their SBUs. Outside the US and UK, Zensar Asia Pacific chief V Balasubramanian is in charge of the India, Japan, Middle East, Africa, Australia and Continental Europe markets. Zensar has also appointed IT industry veteran Parmod Bhalla as COO.
