Zensar, Microland forge strategic alliance

PUNE: Software and BPO services provider Zensar has announced a strategic alliance with Microland, a pure play Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) company, to provide an integrated offering in Applications and Infrastructure Management for its global customers.

With this alliance, Zensar and Microland aim to leverage Zensar's global customer base, Microland's extensive global experience in the IMS space and their combined offshore delivery experience, to take a more comprehensive end-to-end remote infrastructure management services capability to their current and potential customers.

Infrastructure Management Services encompass all the services that relate to monitoring, managing and enhancing performance of a client's IT infrastructure backbone. The global market for infrastructure management services is estimated to be $150 Billion (Gartner).

Zensar said in a statement that its alliance with Microland is a first of its kind between a leading software and BPO services provider and a leading pure-play Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) company to provide end-to-end IT services to customers worldwide by leveraging the global delivery model.
