HYDERABAD: Zenith Computers Ltd has that it will soon launch the sequel to its Infotainer PC - the Infotainer 2 on Intel's latest chip Grantsdale. According to the press release, Zenith Infotainer 2, besides having advanced sights and sounds, improved graphics capability will include a unique feature — users will have the choice to watch TV or play a game on the PC while simultaneously working on Windows for other applications on two separate monitors.

With the Infotainer 2, the user can view a dual display of two screens at the same time from the same PC. The dual display module has been made possible by the Intel 915G chipset (Grantsdale). According to the company, Infotainer 2 will be targeted towards the consumer PC segment, where the entire family is now using the PC. Hence, there emerges a need to create a higher-end affordable PC that is feature-packed and multipurpose.

Zenith Infotainer range of PCs for digital home entertainment and information was first launched in 1999. According to Zenith MD Devita Saraf, "Zenith is an innovative brand, who has owned the Digital Home Entertainment space for years. Intel, with the launch of Grantsdale has taken a competitive leap by launching a product for gaming enthusiasts and game arcade participants. Zenith Infotainer 2 will be one of the first PCs to be introduced on Grantsdale to give our customers a total digital entertainment experience."
