Zebra Tech, A-ID system bags deal from Mizoram govt

MUMBAI, INDIA: Zebra Technologies Corporation, with A-ID Systems India Pvt. Ltd., today announced that it has bagged government project from Mizoram Government to replace traditional driving licenses and certificate of registrations (DL/RC) with Smart Cards.

It is the second state, in North-East region, after Tripura to implement the smart card system. Zebra Technologies is also a provider along with A-ID Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd to other government-led projects like NREGA, RSBY, ESIC and, India’s key identification and tracking project, UIDAI, said a press release.
