Zapak is bringing Crazy Kart in India in association with Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd. In the closed beta stage which was running from August to date Crazy Kart has seen tremendous acceptance in the market. It already has over 50,000 registered users and is attracting around 1500 new users everyday.

The key factor for the success of any MMO in India would be to create the maximum number of access points for the game across the country. Crazy Kart would set a record in the country for being the first MMOG to have the largest distribution network of over 5000 cafes across 106 cities in the country. This would include Zapak Gameplex, Reliance Worlds and other independent cafés.

Rohit Sharma, COO, Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd. said, “Zapak plans to bring to India some of the world’s best MMOG titles by internationally renowned developers. We plan to introduce atleast 5-6 MMOG’s with 2 titles to be launched this year."

"The first title in the series being ‘Crazy Kart’ - a casual racing MMO. After having captured India’s largest database of casual gamers it is now time to graduate the 5 million gamer database to a casual MMO which is fun and interactive. Also as racing is one of the most popular genres on Zapak.com, we believe Crazy Kart –is a strategic fit at this stage for the Indian market and will see early adoption from casual gamers. The success we have seen with the closed beta is a reiteration of our beliefs," he added.
