Zapak, IAMAI intros first 'Gaming Summit' in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd and The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) today announced to organize first ever ‘Gaming Summit’ in India.

The Gaming Summit will have leading industry stalwarts coming from the varied fields namely, gaming, media, advertising fraternity, addressing important dynamics of the industry.

The Summit will see the presence of significant Indian and International players of the industry. David Christensen - Sony Online Entertainment, USA - Gaming Development and Publishing organizations, Desmond Lu Guanghang- Shanda Entertainment, a gaming company in China, Erez Naveh - Come2 Play, and Mohit Anand, Microsoft Xbox will participate in the summit, Zapak said in a statement.

Rohit Sharma, COO, Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd, said: "India is today getting recognized as a potential market for gaming. We are happy to recognize the need for a separate identity for the industry and bring together leading influential personalities on a common platform."
