You can book Amtrak’s tablets for Rajasthan schools for Rs. 500

BANGALORE, INDIA: Amtrak Info System Pvt. Ltd. has launched its education tablets – Amtrak My Class Buddy A700 E and A722G E – in Rajasthan. The models are designed to supplement the Rajasthan government’s recent decision to distribute cheques to 3.5 lakh students who have secured second to eleventh position in the merit list of Class Eight, from 35,819 government schools, for buying tablets.

Amtrak offers an exclusive pre-booking offer to book the tablets for Rs. 500, and it will be delivered in 21 days, stated a release, adding that booking can be done at all leading stationery, telecom and IT shops in Rajasthan.

The 7-inch My Class Buddy tablets are touted as a dedicated smart school solution designed to give the best of content for school-going students. Apparently, these are differently devised, boasting valuable study materials and features to benefit the students.

It comes loaded with Rajasthan State Board Hindi complete syllabus digital books with Bookchums, offers infinite cloud storage through eNlight Space for the students to save their homework, projects and assignments for life, has an e-library of other 50,000 valuable books from Bookchums.

According to the statement, it has three layers of security – Personal Security by EyeWatch, Data security, and Device Security and can be serviced through 39 service centers across Rajasthan.

My Class Buddy A 700 E is equipped with Android 4.0 (ICS), Cortex-A8 1.0 Ghz Processor, a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen (800 x 480 resolution) and Mali 400 GPU along with 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

It has a 512 MB RAM and encompasses 4 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB. The educational tablet also comes with a built-in 3 Axis Gravity Acceleration Sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G with USB modem and 3600 mAh Li-ion polymer battery.

Moreover, one can make calls through it with a dual-sim (stand-by) provision for 2G.
