Yokogawa sets up management support facility

BANGALORE: Yokogawa Blue Star Ltd. (YBL) has set up a 24-hour Remote

Management Support (RMS) facility. This will be located at Electronic City in

Bangalore.

Announcing the launch, YBL managing director J P Singh said, "We have

installed more than 350 distributed control systems in India, especially in

process and utilities. The RMS facility would place our service support, only a

phone call away for its customers anywhere in India."

"Through this Remote Management Support, YBL will be able to make

virtual visits to its automation installations for diagnosing and

troubleshooting. Our customers need only to set up a prerequisite of

hardware/software suite as a part of their automation system to avail this

expert service from Bangalore through simple telephone connection," Singh

added.
