To use the feature, users can tap on the microphone icon appearing at the top right on their mobile phone and speak out the travel details. The flight results with all the options will appear instantly.

Yatra said voice search will be particularly useful for long queries that would otherwise require plenty of details to be typed in, such as the number of travelers, number of adults or children.

Popular holidays are also synchronized into the voice search, so one can search for ‘flight from Delhi to Sydney for two adults on Christmas’ and instantly get all the available flight options for two adults from Delhi to Sydney on 25th December.

“Over the last 18 months, we have seen a significant increase in searches and bookings via mobiles and hence the introduction of a feature like Voice Search to make it easier for the mobile user to search and book flights.
