Yahoo is rolling out new features on its Yahoo Mail app: Caller ID feature and photo upload feature. With Caller ID feature, Android users can now identify the callers, if that person has sent their number in an e-mail. Using e-mail integration system, Yahoo will reveal the caller identity by scanning their number in your mail inbox.

To enable the ‘Caller ID’ feature on iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification, toggle the switch for Yahoo Mail.

The second feature, i.e., photo upload feature helps users to bridge the "gap between your phone and desktop to make photo sharing seamless," said Yahoo in a press release. Once the feature is enabled, the recent camera roll photos will be instantly available when accessing the Yahoo Mail account on a desktop.

Users will also be able to search your mobile photos easily in the sidebar with image recognition technology. For example: searching for "beach", "ocean", or "snow" will pull up relevant photos from your recent trips.

In the case you want to share the photos, these photos will be visible only to the sender and receiver. Moreover, users can remove any photo directly from Yahoo Mail without affecting the camera roll.

To enable this feature, user’s need to open the Yahoo Mail app on iOS or Android, go to Settings > Photo upload, and tap the “Upload photos” and you are done.

However, to enjoy this feature, users need to have the latest Yahoo Mail application — iOS V. 4.13 and Android V. 5.13 — installed on their smartphones.
