Yahoo Box! gains 1 mn users in 3 months

BANGALORE, INDIA: Yahoo's online storage service in Japan, Yahoo Box!, a service similar to Dropbox launched in October, has reached 1 million users, says a report on Asiajin.

It provides users 5GB for free storage space. A premium Yahoo Japan account comes for 295 yen ($3.80) per month, adds the report.

"According to the Yahoo announcement, images (65.4 per cent) are the most common use of storage ahead of general documents (8.2 per cent), music (3.4 per cent) and videos (0.7 per cent) files," adds the report.
