Evolving the concept of AMC into a product package, the company has come up with a new product named PC Support, whereby the company will provide on-site support to any computers or laptops of an organization registered with it.

“We have launched our premiere product PC Support recently. Under this scheme, one has to enroll with the company as a registered user and choose from a wide variety of products with the validity ranging from three months to12 months. With various packs available, it is totally a new concept in the city,”said Srikanta Laha, Propreitor, XTreme Solutions.

The company has claimed that PC Support will enable the SOHO segment in reducing their opex considerably and secure a cost benefit.

Elucidating on the same, Laha added, “Under the AMC scheme, individual computers are registered with the support company which pulls up the opex. Under our scheme, the individual computers need not to be registered and the payment needs to be made on the on-site call basis. We will provide support to any computer of customers”.

Under the current price level in the city, every call support in the SOHO segment ranges between Rs 230 and Rs 300. However, XTreme Solutions has claimed that on an average their rate will range anywhere between Rs 175 and Rs 275 depending on the scheme for every call.

The company has already appointed 11 service engineers with five channel partners in the city. However, XTreme Solutions will provide direct on-site support to its customers and will roll-out and register the sales calls through its channel partners.

The company is operating in the Kolkata, Howrah-Hoogly and 24 Parganas belt. However, they are also keen to expand its focus in Malda, Bolpur and Siliguri soon with its franchisee model.

But the company is keeping its focus only on the service and maintenance part only.

“Although we are offering service packs and giving hardware as well as software support, we are not keen on focussing on this area as of now. If there is a need for hardware replacement, we will recommend our channel partners who offer the best price to help the consumers,” Laha concluded.
