Xtreme Manufacturing implements Patni's SSA ERP

NEW DELHI: IT consulting and services provider, Patni Computer Systems has announced the successful implementation of SSA ERP 6.1 for Xtreme Manufacturing, a manufacturer of forward-reach rough terrain forklifts.

“Having set the mandate to double our production capacity, we wanted to improve resource efficiencies and production planning in a short time. To achieve this, we had set ourselves an ambitious timeframe of implementing SSA ERP within eleven weeks, and Patni justified the immense faith we had in their capabilities” said Don Ahern, president, Xtreme Manufacturing.

Patni used its rapid implementation methodology to reduce the timeline. This lean methodology is most suited for organizations aiming to deploy out-of-the-box application. Patni’s proprietary industry specific templates were deployed to accelerate the 'product mapping' phase’.
