XIUS appoints Michael Powell as chief services officer

NEW DELHI: Michael Powell has been appointed chief

services officer for XIUS, the telecom division of Megasoft.






As Chief Services Officer, forty-six old Powell will lead the US services
offering of the VOISE Solutions initiative for XIUS. VOISE is a next-generation

convergent service delivery platform for MVNOs and Virtual Carriers.






Powell, with over twenty years of experience introducing innovative technology,
was earlier awarded a US patent for his wireless network security architecture

and has extensive experience in transaction security and network authentication.






Before joining XIUS, Powell served as vice president for McKenna Capital. He has
also served as founding member and executive vice president of start-up company

IQorder, Inc.






As co-founder and executive vice president of Authentix, Inc., Powell led the
creation and design of wireless authentication and speech recognition solutions

for Network Operators and their subscribers by creating one of the first broadly

successful customer self service solutions.






Powell has also held various senior positions with Motorola, PacTel Mobile
Access (Vodafone) and TRW Wireless.
