xG Technology ships over $860,000 of xMax in 2013

SARASOTA, USA: xG Technology Inc., a developer of wireless communications and spectrum sharing technologies, has announced that it shipped over $860,000 of xMax cognitive networking equipment and engineering services in 2013 to multiple customers serving a wide range of markets and geographies.

xG continues to ramp up equipment production, enabling it to fulfill additional backlogged customer orders and to meet the requirements of new vertical markets and new orders.

"We are committed to successfully delivering xMax product against our backlog as we increase our production capability through contract partners," said John Coleman, CEO of xG Technology.

"We have made our first shipments to customers serving the key public safety, reseller and telemedicine markets, which follow previously-announced shipments to rural broadband customers. Our team is successfully executing on our product, production and revenue plans, and are converting backlog into shipments and revenue."

xG intends to report fourth quarter 2013 results in March, 2014.

xMax is a comprehensive fixed and mobile broadband solution that is designed for rapid deployment and low operating costs. It offers a carrier-grade user experience and can serve as a network backbone or last-mile solution for a number of markets and applications. xMax leverages software defined radio (SDR) and cognitive networking technology that enable efficient sharing of both licensed and unlicensed spectrum.
