Xenitis ties-up with Iris Computers

NEW DELHI: Xenitis Infotech, manufacturer of the Aamar PC brand of PCs, has appointed Iris Computers as its national distributor.

According to the company, the agreement aims at reaching Xenitis products to remote parts of the country in addition to the metros.

The company has been weak in North India and with this tie-up plans to strengthen its presence in this market.

Speaking on the occasion, Tathagata Dutta, managing director, Xenitis Infotech said, “It has been our long-standing desire to reach our products to even the remotest parts of the country. We have been looking for a partner in this field and are sure that this strategic alliance will add value to both our companies.”

Iris Computers chairman Sanjiv Krishen said, “With this tie up we will aim at growing the Xenitis business and in turn ours and proliferate the PC further in the country. Our aim would be to sell 20,000 Xenitis PCs per month in 22 cities across India. We currently have 1,100 channel partners and would be increasing this number to 2,000 in the next one year.”
