xchange21 to open development center in Bangalore

BANGALORE: The Singapore-based, xchange21, a leading e-solutions provider, on

Monday announced the opening of its new software developmental center in

Bangalore. As part of its global expansion plans, xchange21 has invested around

$750,000 on the center that is spread over 10,000-sq.ft area.

The center, which aims to provide e-solutions for Indian and offshore

companies, will focus on developing reference architecture using advanced

object-oriented technology for various industry segments. From this facility,

the firm plans to offer offshore development services for clients who require

high quality software development and testing services. The firm also plans to

provide skilled manpower for on-site assistance to complement a client’s

internal development team.

"With India emerging as a center for software development in the global

IT market place, the world's digital businesses will soon turn to India for its

vast resources it has built in this space. With this state-of-the-art facility,

we will not only provide local and off-shore clients with the kind of e-solution

they require, but also give a people-asset company such as ours, the talent we

need," said xchange21 CEO Dilip Keshu.

According to Kapil Lakhtakia, who is slated to take over as the executive

vice president of the xchange21 India, "We are focused on providing a

holistic solution to our clients and the development center will play a key role

in this aspect. We will also develop products and intellectual property to

ensure that xchange21 continues to offer business value-add to our worldwide

customers." The core competence and solutions offering of xchange21

includes e consulting, e-building and e-utilities.
