Features: Microsoft has launched the Xbox 360 in the Indian market. The IT major
also announced a new gaming title around cricket, the Yuvraj Singh International
Cricket 2007, which has been created specifically to cater to the tastes of the
Indian gaming market.

The Xbox 360 system will come fully loaded with a 20GB detachable hard drive
for storing music, video and games, a wireless controller, a media remote
control and a component HD-AV cable for connecting to component and composite
television inputs, an Ethernet cable and batteries. The new games on Xbox 360
that will be available at launch include Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, PGR 3, Dead
or Alive 4, Ninety Nights, Table Tennis and Top Spin Two.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and cricketer Yuvraj Singh have been signed on as
the Brand Ambassadors for Xbox 360 in India, a Microsoft statement said.



The Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007 will feature Yuvraj Singh, providing
gamers a real-life experience of playing for and against the teams of their
choice.



Peter Moore, corporate vice president, Interactive Entertainment Business,
Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division, said, “The Xbox 360 with its
strong portfolio of gaming titles and limitless possibilities will appeal to
Indian gamers across multiple genres and equip them to explore new entertainment
options.”



On the Xbox 360 India launch, Mohit Anand, country manager, Microsoft
Entertainment and Devices Division, India, said, “It gives the most realistic
cinematic games experiences and brand new ways to play and have fun. All in all,
the Xbox 360 is a total home entertainment solution. Xbox 360 is definitely a
must-have for Indian gamers who want to get on to the collaborative
entertainment environment like their counterparts in other parts of the
world.”



“The big news is the launch of the cricket game that has been conceptualized
and designed in sync with the preferences of the Indian gamers. In the months
ahead, we will continue to introduce new titles that will enhance the overall
