Xalted to launch telecommunications software products

BANGALORE: Xalted Information Systems is in the process launching a new
series of telecommunications products through a collaboration agreement with
Xalted Networks USA (XNA). Many products are currently in field trials in the US
and will soon be introduced in India. The company also plans to hire about 125
people for Bangalore in the next few months to cater to its growing needs.

Xalted Information systems has unveiled a new product, 7X, to facilitate
broadband or high speed Internet. The firm has started a Bangalore center to
undertake software development and systems engineering effort in India and plans
to expand its existing business in the country . The company will also undertake
end-to-end network engineering and solutions development for global
telecommunications service providers in the years to come.

With the telecom infrastructure being crippled in many countries with the growth
of the Internet data

With the growth of the Internet expected to reach 98 per cent by the year
2005, telecom infrastructure is in for a renovation or rebuilding. Products that
facilitate broadband or high speed Internet are looking to rule the Indian
market in the years to come.
