Wynn Telecom launches seven new handsets

BANGALORE,INDIA: Wynn Telecom Ltd., a part of SAR Group today unveiled seven new mobile handsets aimed at the youth.

The new models, a mix of utility, multimedia and QWERTY phones, will be marketed under the brand name Wynncom and has a price rage of Rs 1,500 to Rs 5,000.

The flagship Wynncom Y50 is a dual SIM Qwerty phone pre-loaded with significian features like AIO messanger, social networking applications, multimedia etc. this stylish handset is targeted towards the youth as it comes with a dual GPRS support feature with which the user can have an advantage of enjoying GPRS facillty from the two service providers at the same time. The model is priced at MOP of Rs 4,195

Wynncom Y30 is dual SIM multimedia phone with dual speakers, 2 PM camera, GM radio with schedule recording, MP3 player, Mobile tracker apart from many other attractive features and is priced at MOP Rs 3,495.

Arvind R Vohra, co-founder and managing director, Wynn Telecom said the company is commited to establish itself as a leading player in the Indian Mobile handset industry and is investing aggressively in its Indian and chinese operations.

He said the company has plans to invest Rs 500 crores in the Indian market durign the next two years. It is planned to invest Rs 100 crore in 2010-11 on distribution and Service Network Development, Product Development, Brand Development and Advertising and Rs 400 crores in financial year 2011-12 on Technology Development Centers at India and China, besides acquision of VAS and User Interface Software companies.
