WNS official denies $170 m deal

MUMBAI: A day after CIOL reported a $170 million likely contract from a US-based financial services company, WNS-a BPO company in the country, has categorically denied the news.

In a statement via e-mail issued to CIOL, a senior official of WNS in India said that the company was not signing any deal of that size.

"I would like to say for the record that WNS has not signed any $170 million deal with a US financial firm," said Ishan Singh of WNS India. He maintains that he was reported out of context.
