Wishtel and Intel to offer Tablets PCs for enterprises

MUMBAI, INDIA: Wishtel, the tablet manufacturer, has partnered with Intel for its new range of IRA Tablet PCs for Enterprise Applications.

The product range includes two Tablets- IRA IA, operating on Android OS; and IRA IW, operating on Windows Tablets.

The new range will be powered by partner Intel's Z2500 Series (Clover Trail Plus) Processer 1.2GHZ/2.0 GHz. and 3700 Series (Baytrail) Processer 1.3GHZ/I.8GHZ CPUs. The Tablets are available in three screen sizes, 7", 8" and 10.1".

Intel® based tablets provide an ideal balance of performance, battery life and graphics for consumers and we are working with Wishtel this year in delivering an exciting hands-on experience to consumers on our Intel® processor based tablets across multiple screen sizes."

The IRA range of Enterprise Tablets are optimized for Enterprise Solutions like MDM, Video conferencing, Cloud Computing, Office and Mail clients, ERP Implementation. They also enable Enterprises to switch to ‘Bring your Own Device' (BYOD) concepts easily.

The IRA IW is powered by Intel's 3700 Series (Baytrail) 1.33GHZ-1.8GHZ processors and Window 8.1 operating system. The IRA IA range is powered by Intel's Z2500 Series (Clover Trail Plus) 1.2GHZ processor, and based on an Android 4.242 (Kitkat) operating system.

All Tablets are supported by micro USB (smart OTG support), wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, WLAN, 3G), and micro SD (capacity to expand storage). The tablets range between Rs.7,000 to Rs.18,000.
