Wipro wins tech contracts from 3 Indian states

MUMBAI, INDIA: Wipro Ltd, India's No. 3 software services exporter, said on Thursday it had won deals from three state governments to build and manage information data centers.

The company's India business arm, Wipro Infotech, has been given the contracts by the governments of Maharashtra, West Bengal and Gujarat as part of their drive to improve services to citizens by using technology, it said in a statement.

Financial details of the deals were not disclosed.
