BANGALORE: Wipro has replaced Martha Helena Bejar, president of sales and global operations with Pinaki Kar, according to media reports.
Bejar, 48, was with Wipro since July 1, 2009. As chairperson and chief executive officer of Wipro Infocrossing Inc. since April 2011, Bejar was responsible for the strategic and operational management of Infocrossing.
According to Bloomberg, her annual compensation was $1,271,312.
Earlier, she served Microsoft Corporation from June 2007 to June 2009 as Corporate vice president.
Before joining Microsoft, Bejar, a Harvard graduate, was the president of Caribbean and Latin America regions for telecommunications giant Nortel Network Corp with sales, operations and marketing responsibilities.
