Wipro Q2 results on Oct 17

MUMBAI: A meeting of the board of directors of Wipro Ltd. to consider and approve the audited accounts for the second quarter ended September 30, 2003, would be held on October 16 and 17, 2003.






The audited accounts would be finally approved by the board of directors only on October 17, 2003.





The company`s board has recently resolved to issue and allot 655 equity shares of Rs. two each, pursuant to exercise of stock options by eligible employees.





The software player`s stock was trading at Rs 1247.50, up 2.32 per cent, over its previous close of Rs 1219.2 on Wednesday, at the BSE today in late afternoon trades.
