The implementation timeframe of just 32 weeks for 19 modules of the Oracle E-Business suite, represents one of the fastest implementations on record for the broad Oracle E-Business suite footprint by Wipro. The project represents several 'firsts' for Wipro and Oracle, including the first use of Oracle Accelerators in the Oracle On Demand environment and the first implementation of the Oracle Projects Family Pack M globally, a Wipro statement said.

Amitava Sharma, head, Oracle Practices, Wipro Technologies, said, "The record-setting Oracle E-Business suite implementation for Merichem was made possible through effective use of Oracle accelerators and Wipro's Accelerated Implementation methodology (A-EAPM). These tools significantly reduce time to market and improve quality of delivery for our customers."

"The Oracle E-Business suite helps our customers to evolve to the next generation of business applications, providing better business insight and a superior customer experience," said Andy Bailey, senior vice president of worldwide system integrator alliances at Oracle.
