Wipro launches Apollo printers

Wipro Peripherals has announced the entry level Apollo

range of Inkjet printers in the Indian market. The new range Apollo 1200 or Apollo

Spectrum is focused on the SOHO and SMB segments.

Apollo consumer product is a fully owned subsidiary of

Hewlett Packard, who released this product worldwide recently. It will be distributed by

Wipro Peripherals in India. Presently Wipro is planning to expand its channels to market

this product.

To attract the buyers, the printer is bundled with

encyclopedia and 25 hours of Internet free to the end users and also a unique 30-day Money

back offer valid till 31st July. The company offers one-year replacement warranty.

The new printer is capable of reaching speed upto 3.5 ppm

under test conditions, it uses Hewlett-Packard Ink technology, it supports a resolution of

600 dpi for black text and 300 dpi for color outputs. The extra receive buffer of 48 Kb

allows job spooling and the background printing ensures Return to Application (RTA).

Apollo Spectrum handles 50 sheets of normal A4 size bond sheets.

Apollo Spectrum is priced at Rs. 4,995 excluding of taxes

in India.
