Wipro Infotech launches 'Wipro LittleGenius' notebook

BANGALORE: Wipro Infotech, the domestic and Asia Pacific IT division of Wipro Ltd, has entered the Notebook segment by announcing the launch of 'Wipro LittleGenius'.

The power-packed Wipro LittleGenius notebook includes an all-in-one architecture -CD ROM/ DVD, PC card slots, floppy disk drive, a 13.3-inch active matrix TFT screen, and high fidelity stereo speakers.

Wipro LittleGenius comes in two models - one with an Intel Pentium III processor, and the other with an Intel Celeron processor. The Pentium range is available at clock speeds of 850 MHz processor with upgrades available up to 1 GHz. The Celeron-based notebooks have speeds upto 900 MHz. The notebooks come with a three-year warranty.

The product comes with all the peripherals like CD-ROM, Floppy drive as standard and an innovative strolley bag, making it truly mobile. Wipro LittleGenius has been engineered and tested for working especially in Indian conditions. Rigorous tests have been conducted on the notebook to test factors such as stress, humidity, pressure, vibration and temperature. In addition, every component has also been tested.

Speaking on this occasion, Rajiv Bharathan, General Manager-Marketing, Wipro PC division, said, "Wipro LittleGenius is great news for aspiring executives, who are on the move. We believe that this strong proposition will grow the notebook market in India.''
