Wipro sees no impact from Satyam fraud

BANGALORE, INDIA: Senior executives of India's No. 3 software services exporter Wipro Ltd said there was no pressure on business because of the recent revelations about the fraud in Satyam Computer Services.

While  interacting with media after the announcement of the Q3 results, Wipro chief financial officer Suresh Senapaty said on Wednesday that the IT services margin in the December quarter was 20 per cent, while average pricing in the period rose 120 basis points from July-September on constant currency terms.

Meanwhile, Reuters quoted Wipro co-chief executive officer Suresh Vaswani as saying that the company is not hunting for customers of embattled software firm Satyam Computer Services Ltd.
