Magyar chairman and chief executive Christopher Mattheisen said on the occasion that the centre would help his company to serve its subscribers efficiently on real-time basis.

Hungarian investment director Gergely Lukacsy hoped Wipro's foray into the eastern country would prompt other Indian technology firms to consider Hungary as a potential venue for investments in Europe.

The new centre also strengthens Wipro's presence in   with two similar facilities in Romania and Poland.
