If the deal goes through, this would be the second largest deal for Wipro in the telecom space, a Business Standard report said today.

In May Wipro had won a nine-year outsourcing contract from telecom firm Unitech Wireless to provide a range of information technology services to the company, which has licences to operate in all 22 circles across India.

However, Wipro shares declined nearly 3 per cent today at Bombay Stock Exchange, and was traded at Rs 498, down by Rs 11.55, compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 509.55. At one point it touched a low of Rs 487, after opening at a high of Rs 508.
