Wipro buys HDFC stake in Spectramind

BANGALORE: Wipro Limited has acquired the entire equity holding, owned by Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) Limited in Wipro Spectramind Services Private Limited for an aggregate consideration of Rs 26.4 crore. Wipro acquired from HDFC equity shares representing eight percent of the outstanding equity shares of Wipro Spectramind Services Private Limited.

These equity shares represent approximately six percent of the equity of Wipro Spectramind Services Private Limited on a fully diluted basis. With this transaction, Wipro Spectramind Services Private Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Wipro Limited.
