Wipro is Bussan’s sourcing partner

BANGALORE: Wipro has tied up with Japan based telecom technology company

Bussan Systems Integration Co. (BSI) to develop BSI’s requirement of mobile

technologies for its global market. According to the agreement, Wipro will

establish a dedicated offshore development center for BSI, focusing on telecom

solutions for Internet services and wireless application areas. In addition, BSI

will market Wipro’s telecom solutions in Japan.

Wipro Technologies Telecom Solutions chief executive Ramesh Emani said,

"The Japanese market is the most advanced in the world for wireless

applications. Partnering with a Japanese company such as BSI gives us

opportunity to work on challenging projects involving cutting edge mobile

technologies."

BSI, a Mitsui group company developing solutions for the Internet and

wireless applications, offers systems integration, customer care and billing

solutions focused on the telecom and broadcast industries. Some of its leading

clients include NTT Data, Toshiba, DDI Corporation, J-Phone, Japan Digital

Broadcasting System, Fujitsu and Suntory.

The BSI offshore development center will be located at Wipro’s Hyderabad

facility.
