WinHire deploys IBM’s SmartCloud solution

NEW DELHI, INDIA: IBM announced that WinHire Technologies, provider of a video-based social networking solution for virtual recruitment, has selected its SmartCloud Enterprise solution to roll out their next generation business model leaveraging social media.

Prabhu, chief operating officer, WinHire, said, “Our business model is very unique as the potential of social media in the recruiting process is not yet leveraged widely in the recruitment industry. By helping us harness the transformational capabilities of cloud computing, IBM has given us the technical superiority, security and scalability and enabled us to take the recruitment industry to the next level.”

Making a choice over Amazon, Win Hire preferred the IBM solution as it allowed them to access a secure enterprise class shared private cloud computing infrastructure, says the company in a release.

WinHire wanted to build and implement a shared collaborative hiring capability which would be able to address the challenges such as identity fraud in the recruitment process and also replace the early stage of faceless communication with interactive video interview capability.
